Allred Announces $80 Million in 2022 Funding for DFW and Love Field Airports as Part of Bipartisan Infrastructure Law

December 16, 2021

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Colin Allred (TX-32), a member of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee today announced more than $63.8 million in funding for DFW Airport and $16.3 million for Dallas Love Field as part of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Texas will receive $241.5 million total for fiscal year 2022 for airports across the state, the second-largest amount of any state.
“Our airports are the economic engines that power job creation and growth here in North Texas and that’s why I was a strong supporter of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and the substantial investments this will make across our region,” said Allred. “These funds will help our airports expand and help improve services across the board. I look forward to working with our airports and our many other transportation-related agencies as this law is implemented and funds continue to move out the door.”
