Helping North Texans: Amanda from Dallas
Amanda was excited to attend her best friend’s wedding in Mexico, where she was also the Maid of Honor. In September, Amanda submitted the required documents to renew her passport but, due to delays caused by COVID-19, Amanda learned that it may take two months before she would receive her new passport. The wedding was on October 1st, and without her passport, Amanda would miss her best friend’s wedding. That’s when Amanda turned to Rep. Allred for help.
After hearing about Amanda’s urgent situation, Rep. Allred immediately contacted the State Department regarding expediting Amanda’s passport request. After Rep. Allred submitted the inquiry, Amanda’s passport was issued and shipped the very next day. Amanda was able to be by her best friend’s side on her wedding day.
If you need help with a federal agency, Congressman Allred’s office is here to help. Please call (972) 972-7949 or visit our services page for more information.
