Emmanuel from Wylie

Emmanuel is an independent contractor and 18-wheeler truck driver from Wylie. Like many North Texans, Emmanuel was experiencing increased financial hardships amid the ongoing pandemic and applied for an Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) through the Small Business Administration (SBA). Unfortunately, Emmanuel was incorrectly denied for the loan due to “unsatisfactory” credit despite his credit being above the minimum requirement. Discouraged and unsure of what to do next, Emmanuel reached out to Rep. Allred for help. 

Rep. Allred immediately reached out to the SBA to advocate on behalf of Emmanuel and explain that his credit met the minimum requirements. Within just a few months, Rep. Allred was able to secure Emmanuel with a loan worth thousands. With this loan, he was able to regain a level of security during these unprecedented times.
