Joy from Richardson
Facing a mental health crisis, Joy was desperate to get her husband, who was living in Honduras, into the United States to assist her. But her husband’s case was stuck with United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) with no movement being made. Both her and her immigration lawyer were unsuccessful in making advances to expedite the process, and that’s when Joy Reached out to Rep. Allred for assistance.
Rep. Allred immediately inquired with USCIS and was able to get her husband’s case moved to the U.S. Embassy of Honduras in under 2 weeks. Joy’s husband’s case was then put on the priority list for an interview. Soon after, Joy’s husband was able to attend his interview and received his visa to come to the United States.
If you need help with a federal agency, Congressman Allred’s office is here to help. Please call (972) 972-7949 or visit our services page for more information.
