Allred Announces 32nd District Appointments for Service Academies

Richardson, Texas -- Congressman Colin Allred (TX-32) today announced the names of the North Texas students he nominated that received appointments to our nation’s service academies. Eleven students from the 32nd District of Texas will be attending the United States Air Force Academy, the United States Military Academy at West Point and the United States Naval Academy in Fall 2021.

“I am constantly inspired by our young people and their dedication to service and I am so honored to be nominating these hardworking students to our nation’s prestigious service academies,'' said Allred. “North Texas has a rich tradition of service and that continues with each of these bright leaders. I wish them the best in their next chapters and thank them for their commitment to serve our country.”

The students who received appointments are:

  • Lily Lutz, Episcopal School of Dallas, United States Naval Academy

  • Lizzie Kelley, Episcopal School of Dallas, United States Naval Academy

  • Patrick Turner, Highland Park High School, United States Naval Academy

  • Anthony Ghobriel, Highland Park High School, United States Naval Academy

  • Johnson Jin, Highland Park High School, United States Naval Academy

  • Cole Overstreet, J.J. Pearce High School, United States Military Academy at West Point

  • McClain Matter, Vanderbilt University, United States Military Academy at West Point

  • Marshall Neri, Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas, United States Military Academy at West Point

  • David Cox, Cistercian Preparatory School, United States Military Academy at West Point

  • Mitchell Campbell, Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas, United States Military Academy at West Point

  • Jimmy Nguyen, Bishop Lynch High School, United States Air Force Academy
