Allred Spends Thanksgiving with Troops and Veterans in Seoul

SEOUL – Congressman Colin Allred (TX-32), a member of the Veterans’ Affairs and Foreign Affairs committees, spent Thanksgiving in Seoul, South Korea, sharing lunch with American service members stationed at Camp Humphreys and dinner with veterans at the Dragon Hill Lodge.

“Missing holidays at home with loved ones is just one of the many sacrifices our service members and their families make to keep us safe,” said Allred. “It was an honor to spend Thanksgiving with our troops and veterans. On behalf of North Texans, I was proud to show our thanks for the sacrifices our service members and veterans have made, and let them know how much support they have back home.”

The bipartisan congressional delegation traveled this week to Japan and South Korea to meet with foreign dignitaries, military leadership, service members and veterans. The Committee on Veterans’ Affairs Chairman Mark Takano is leading the delegation, which includes Allred and his colleagues Reps. Slotkin (D-MI), Jacobs (D-CA) and Mace (R-SC).
