Allred Staff will Begin Temporarily Serving Constituents Remotely

Casework assistance, legislative work and outreach will continue even as physical locations in Washington D.C. and Richardson are temporarily closed to the public

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Colin Allred (TX-32) today announced his team members will begin to work remotely, and his physical office locations in Richardson and Washington, D.C. will be temporarily closed to the public.

"It is incumbent on all of us to listen to the experts and use best practices to combat and contain the spread of coronavirus," said Allred. "Out of an abundance of caution, my team members will work remotely but will remain dedicated to serving the people of the 32nd District of Texas."

The office has instituted continuity of operations procedures (COOP) to ensure constituent services are not interrupted. Calls will continue to be answered and messages returned, and constituent correspondence will be responded to in the same timely manner.

Constituent services will continue on behalf of residents of the 32nd District of Texas with existing and new casework issues involving the federal government – including answering questions and assisting with the response to the spread of coronavirus.
