Allred Thanks First Lady for Visiting North Texas, Encourages North Texans to Get Vaccinated
Washington, D.C. — Congressman Colin Allred (TX-32) today released the following statement thanking First Lady Dr. Jill Biden for visiting the Conrad High School vaccination site in Dallas and encouraging North Texans to get vaccinated.
“The most patriotic thing you can do ahead of this Independence Day is to get vaccinated and I am so grateful to First Lady Jill Biden for visiting North Texas to encourage folks to get their shot,” said Allred. “Last Independence Day, North Texans were facing dangerous levels of community spread, but now we can celebrate with friends and family safely thanks to the American Rescue Plan’s historic investment in vaccines. Everyone should do their part and get vaccinated — it’s free and it’s safe.”
Allred and Labor Secretary Marty Walsh toured the Baylor Scott and White vaccine clinic and encouraged North Texans to get vaccinated. Allred also joined Reps. Johnson and Veasey in visiting the Fair Park vaccination hub in March.
