ICYMI: Allred Joins North Texas Colleague Rep. Van Taylor for Bipartisan Discussion with Dallas Friday Group

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Colin Allred (TX-32) today participated in a bipartisan discussion with Congressman Van Taylor (TX-03) moderated by Gromer Jeffers Jr. from the Dallas Morning News. The discussion was organized by the Dallas Friday Group, a non-profit, non-partisan organization of business people who share an interest in public affairs and business issues.

"To beat this virus, we must work together so we can keep our community healthy and get the resources we need so North Texas can reopen safely," said Allred. "I thank Congressman Taylor for joining this critical discussion and I thank the Dallas Friday Group for hosting. These public forums are as important as ever as our North Texas community seeks information and resources regarding this public health crisis."

Topics discussed included priorities for North Texas in future COVID-19 packages, the safety and health of North Texans as some businesses open in a limited capacity and the need for bipartisan cooperation to combat this pandemic.
